Sam Ardito

clinical mental health counseling intern
I am a clinical mental health counseling intern under Dana Savage. I have a Masters in Applied Psychology and I am working towards my masters in Mental Health Counseling. My NPI # is 1154246023 and my supervisor’s NPI # is 1790625234.
I am an advanced clinical intern practicing mental health counseling under the supervision of Dana Savage. I am a master’s student at St. Francis College where I also teach undergraduate introduction to psychology. Driven by curiosity and unconditional positive regard, I am dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for individual and group counseling. My work is trauma-informed and identity-inclusive, grounded in the principles of positive psychology and narrative therapy to support you on your path forward. I view therapy as a vital form of ongoing healthcare–not just for problem-solving, but as a proactive investment in living a fulfilling life. Together, we will explore internal dynamics, transform self-destructive attitudes or shame, and uncover the strengths that help you rewrite your story. Though growth can sometimes be uncomfortable, you will never be alone in your pursuit of self-actualization. My goal is to help you define and achieve your vision for the future, so that every time we speak, you feel supported, capable, and genuinely excited for what lies ahead. Outside of sessions, you can find me learning about nordic ruins, the occult, tarot, and astrology
